A Rehearsal. (Nima Community)

 20th June, 2014

 Number of participants: 21. Boys(12), Girls(9).

VOICES fellows present: Joseph, Godwin, Selasi, Emefa and Sherifa.

AGENDA

  • This week is an intense week of research and working towards finalizing their project outline and narrowing down what they are going to do about the issue and who will be doing what exactly in the project.

Introduction

When the fellows got to the school, the school was very noisy. There was a party for the JHS graduates for finishing their exams. We went round to call our people for the meeting.

When we started the meeting, the participants were asked to submit their assignment given to them by Selasi in our last meeting. Some of the participants had theirs and some didn’t. They were asked to recite the poems the fellows asked them to write on their own concerning the child right violation issue they chose as their project. The participants did very well with their poems. Joseph then began with the choreographed dance, the music was chosen by the participants and the dance moves were directed by Joseph. It was a successful rehearsal. Selasi then came up with a skit for the participants. The meeting was very interesting with the way fellows and participants involved themselves during the meeting to the end.
